M/V Amon

M/V AMON - This 2545Gt vessel is built at the DAMEN yard in Bergum. Besides the electrical installation and alarm & monitoring system, Alewijnse also supplied a complete integrated bridge system, based on the ALVAS concept. In this bridge several functionalities are combined in one system. This means Alewijnse was responsible for engineering, installing and commissioning of the complete navigation and radar system, the GMDSS station, the ECDIS and the conning system. The navigation system also had to communicate with the Alvas alarm -and monitoring system. Alewijnse integrated al these components into the ALVAS integrated bridge - the perfect example of complete system integration.
