Action AIS for Inland waterways

Below you find forms to subscribe for an Alewijnse action for an Inland AIS system. These forms are meant for Dutch and Belgian owners of inland vessels. They are related to a subsidy scheme from the Ministry of Transport and Public Works in Holland and Belgium. Background of the subsidy is that in a few years' time, operators of inland waterway vessels in the Netherlands and Belgium will be obliged to have an AIS transponder on board, in order to comply with the new legislation governing identification.

Alewijnse offers an Inland AIS system for the price of 2100 euro, which is exactly the amount of subsidy which can be obtained.

If you are not from Holland or Belgium but are interested in this Inland AIS, please contact us at amr @alewijnse .nl or call +31 (0)180 460 555 or fill in the form below.

Alewijnse offers  the Comnav AIS with approval number R-4-207, which is compact, simple to install and available in different languages. Significant is a private mode option, which allows you to decide when you want to be tracked (and when not). Alewijnse can install the AIS on Inland waterway from sites in Rotterdam, Nijmegen and Drachten, but also from our international departments if necessary.

Because of the increasing importance of safety on water, the IVW demands that suppliers and installers be qualified to perform AIS installations and testing. The Ministry of Transport and Public Works has certified Alewijnse Marine Systems as an expert in maintenance and testing of radar, turn indicators and inland AIS (Automatic Identification System) on ships for Rhine and inland navigation. Alewijnse was one of the first Dutch companies that received this certification.
