Life time extension for Patrol vessel RPA-14: new multifunctional bridge system.

Alewijnse recently completed a refit of the bridge system of a technologically advanced patrol vessel for Port of Rotterdam. For patrol vessel RPA 14 most elements of the electrical installation were renewed, including the automation of the fire fighting systems.

Alewijnse Navigation delivered and installed a new modular and multi-functional bridge system within the existing framework. This resulted in an effective and functional design, with renewed radar, ECDIS, conning and advanced autopilot system for precise operation.

By this renewed wheelhouse, the RPA-14 has been updated for many more years.
